<p>Community Health Center in the Phoenix Metro area is seeking a Director of Operations for their evening hours. Tuesday - Friday 11am - 8pm, with satrudat coverage from 8am - 5pm. Great opportunity for growth in this rapidly expanding program with internal promotions available. Join one of the most well respected Health Centers in the region.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><p>1. Interacts politely as a team player with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and the public.</p><p>2. Completes the cash deposit 'end of day' process with CSR's in every department and witnesses money drop.</p><p>3. Assists staff/providers with Customer Service occurrences, striving for an equitable resolution for all parties.</p><p>4. Immediately notifies PA or Ops Director of any unresolved occurrences. Completes Occurrence Report as per policy.</p><p>5. Ensures clinic flows efficiently and patients are seen in a timely manner. Uses active schedule management principles to improve patient access to care and quality of care.</p><p>6. Partners with Ops Directors regarding performance and compliance of permanent Evening/Saturday staff.</p><p>7. Ensures completion of quarterly customer service surveys.</p><p>8. Ensures medications are secured at end of shift.</p><p>9. Ensure storerooms are secured at end of shift.</p><p>10. Ensures lab is notified for late specimens or late draws.</p><p>11. Remains current in communication and email, and disseminates information as needed.</p><p>12. Attends regular management and staff meetings as required.</p><p>13. Checks emergency equipment and refrigerator logs for daily completion.</p><p>14. Participates in staff orientation on second shift.</p><p>15. Makes notification phone calls to patients after hours (i.e. abnormal labs, appointments needed, etc.)</p><p>16. Develops and maintains staff proficiency in emergency situations by conducting safety drills/code activities as assigned; provides feedback on appropriate communication and responses.</p><p>17. Must be able to embrace differences among people and is able to interact with internal staff as well as external contacts in a culturally competent and respectful manner.</p><p> </p>
