Data Analyst
<p>Community Health Center in the Central Phoenix area is seeking an experienced Data Analyst.</p><ul><li><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong> Candidate will have ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. IT analysis background including expert skills in SQL, IBM Cognos, Access, Excel, and report design and layout with demonstrated ability to collect, process, and analyze data in a healthcare setting. Ability to use independent judgment in determining analytical methods and processes and demonstrated experience and expertise in developing spreadsheets, database management, SQL applications, and reports suitable for presentation to all organizational levels. Effective at working with all levels of personnel. Minimum education required is a bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or MIS, or equivalent. Position requires solid organizational skills and ability to work in a team and assimilate several projects at one time. Experience in a health care setting is preferred.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><p>Extracts data from financial, medical, and dental clinical systems</p><p>Performs statistical analysis of data to support analysis of financial and quality improvement measures and initiatives</p><p>Designs, prepares, and automates routine reports and ad hoc reports to support financial, clinical operations, workflow and clinical data reporting and decision making</p><p>Works closely with end-users to design, automate, and implement efficient data collection methods/methodologies</p><p>Assist in program corrections and test for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to current healthcare standards</p><p>Meet data reporting deadlines</p><p>Work with clinical and IT department to automate and integrate information systems throughout the organization</p><p>Responsible for data-mining and reporting for Electronic Health Records system including the setup and maintenance of reporting mechanisms</p><p>Produce, maintain, and automate Clinical, Operational, and Financial Reports</p><p>Create and manage database of data reports and maintain reports with current parameters</p><p>Work with key administrative and clinical personnel to compile annual and grant related reports</p><p>Other Projects as Assigned</p>
